- Type: Microprocessor-based controller
- Purpose: Specifically designed for steam turbines to control their speed and provide overspeed protection.

II. Core Functions
- Speed Control:
- 8440-1706 Precisely controls the speed of steam turbines by adjusting steam inlet flow.
- Supports single-range or split-range actuators to accommodate turbines of different sizes.
- Overspeed Protection:
- Incorporates triple independent overspeed protection logic to ensure rapid shutdown in case of overspeed, preventing equipment damage.
- Provides an overspeed test button for convenient on-site testing of protection functions.
- Emergency Shutdown:
- Equipped with an emergency stop button for immediate shutdown in emergency situations.
- System Protection:
-
- Automatically switches control modes upon sensor failure to ensure uninterrupted system operation.
- Offers local/remote control priority selection to adapt to different operational scenarios.

-
The remote control consists of an infrared receiver and transmitter circuit, a signal conditioning circuit, a central controller 8031, a program and data memory,
a keyboard, and a status indicator circuit.
The remote control has two states: learning state and control state. When the remote control is in learning mode, every time the user presses a control button,
the infrared receiving circuit begins to receive external infrared signals and convert them into electrical signals. Then, after detection, shaping, and amplification,
the CPU samples them at regular intervals. The binary data of each sampling point is stored in designated storage units in 8-bit units for future control of the device.
When the remote control is in control mode, every time the user presses a control key, the CPU reads a series of binary
data from the designated storage unit and outputs it in series (the time interval between bits is equal to the time interval during sampling) to the signal holding circuit.
At the same time, the modulation circuit modulates the signal, amplifies the modulated signal, and emits it through an infrared emitting diode, thereby achieving control of the device function corresponding to the key.
